Keep Dancing! Older Age and Cultural Activity is an on-going WAM research project that stemmed from the 2013 Summer School. Participants noted that older women do not have a space to dance in the way that young women and men do, and that dancing is thus for older women a long forgotten activity, associated with the young or with rare social events such as weddings or dancing at home.

The forthcoming second edition of the Postgraduate Journal of Women, Ageing and Media (PGWAM) will examines the project in more detail and presents some preliminary findings.

Please check here regularly for updates on the WAM Keep Dancing Project.
